Summary

A glowfly makes Walden think that aliens are going to visit Wuzzleburg.

Recap

Wubbzy, Walden and Widget are looking through Walden's telescope when a glowfly makes Walden think it is a spaceship. Wubbzy and Widget discover it's just a glowfly, but before they can tell Walden, he's already spread the word that the alien spaceship will land in Wuzzleburg Park the next evening. Since they think Walden will feel very silly if they told him the truth, Widget decides to build a working spaceship and they'll pretend to be aliens.

The next afternoon, they meet at Widget's house where they wrap themselves in tinfoil and wear baking instruments (a pot, oven mitts, a strainer and wooden stirring spoons) so that they look like aliens. Then they fly away in the fake UFO that Widget has made, but Widget's hat falls and blocks her face so Wubbzy has to direct her. Wubbzy's directons almost make them hit a skyscraper. Widget gets her hat unstuck and they land successfully at the park right when Walden expects the alien spaceship. Widget and Wubbzy make beeping noises instead of speaking so they can sound like aliens. But Widget's hat falls again, and when she put it back up her ears are revealed. Wubbzy tries to tell her by beeping, but then Walden sees Wubbzy's tail sticking out and Wubbzy is forced to confess.

Wubbzy and Widget take Walden back to the telescope and show him the glowfly. Walden gets excited because it's a rare Green Goggle-Headed Glowfly and rushes off to spread the word, holding the glowfly in his hands. Wubbzy and Widget follow him. Then, a real alien lands, hovering down to the ground. He speaks in beeps just like Widget and Wubbzy had been doing. The alien looks in Walden's telescope and sees another glowfly on the lens and thinks there is another alien spaceship going to land! He runs around, excitedly, just like Walden!
